I recently used Steve Prewitt to purchase a home here in the springs. Steve was able to set me up with a personal website while I was still living in Japan prior to moving to Colorado. I found him through his website www.sellingthesprings.com

While Steve did what we asked during our search for a home the problems came after the deal closed. Within days of closing I realized that my "home warranty" that was included in the deal did not include coverage of the furnace and AC system (the most expensive unit in the house) I called Steve to ask him why he didn't catch this issue. (I was told everything would be covered and I need not worry during the closing process.) Additionally, the warranty basically covered the kitchen appliances, which were brand new and still under their own warranty. Steve never returned my call after he told me that he would call and take care of the problem, and get the warranty amended.

Another issue arose within days of closing regarding a leaking underground water pipe in the back yard. I called Steve asking him if he could simply see if he could contact the previous owner so that I could figure out where the shut off valve was for this water line. Steve told me that he would help, but then AGAIN never returned my call.

Unfortunately, I realized after these two incidents, and the fact that he never called me back that I was simply a paycheck, and I wasn't going to get any help now.
