We were promised a "rebate" on the commission. It turns out when we tried to cash the check he wrote, it bounced. We went to hiss office and found that it had been cleaned out. He's gone. The manager at the office told us he was fired a few days ago and that the "rebate" he promised us is completely illegal. He is quite unscupulous in his dealings. I will not ever use him again |

We are considering suing Simmons. We've been trying to buy a house which in the best of times would have been a complicated sale. He and his assistant lied to us for months about their conversations with the seller and lender. In the end, he was fired by his real estate company and we are still waiting to buy the home with his former company taking over the sale. We don't understand his motives because this went way beyond just laziness; he was actively lying to us about his efforts. He should lose his license. |

This guy is a complete joke! I enlisted his services and he did nothing to help me sell my house. He ran an adds for an open house with wrong information...wrong square footage, # of bedrooms and location. He did this more then once! He showed up an hour late to one of the open houses. He is totally incompetent, so much so, I was embarrassed for him. He had no regard for the my families plight, which was to sell our house quickly...or at least make the effort. He didn't return calls, couldn't properly showcase my house on the MLS site, didn't run weekly open houses, despite having agreed to do so. He was a disgrace! So, 3 months passes and I find a new realtor. He gets wind of this and says, wait, stay with me...I have an offer for you. It was his girlfriend! And the offer was nearly 20K below asking price. Needless to say I changed realtors and sold my house in 20 days...and received 15K above asking price. Steve Simmons is a joke...lazy, incompetent and a total ****. |
