Neither Gross nor his agents knew how to advise us on how to set a property’s price to sell. The marketing, write up & pictures were poor. They don’t know how to bring in buyers. They don’t do any internet marketing to speak of. We told them to take our home off the market so that we could make some improvements and then we could put it back on with a lower price. They did not do as we had requested. They lowered the price on their own without our permission which was still the incorrect price and the improvements were not made. Buyers came by to our surprise while we were working. They were not impressed. We told Gross we were unsatisfied with their performance. Neither he nor his agent asked why, but gave us a bill for the full commission instead(with no sell. In fact, they justified their performance saying they were very proud of how they had handled everything.
Do your research. Put a satisfaction guarantee clause put into the contract. Reputable realtors will readily agree. |
