John Plank is probably the worst realtor in the history of the profession. He refuses to negotiate and is willing to lose a good sale (even on the day of closing!) if things don't go his way. He is unresponsive, rude to clients and other realtors, and has an over-inflated ego that does not serve his clients. For the amount of commission he is paid to sell homes in Arlington (just outside of Washington DC) he is not only negligent, but nearly criminal! If it didn't mean spending more time with him, we'd pursue this legally. |

I did not work with this agent but another from Long and Foster who leased me an apartment but failed to tell me there was MAJOR construction planned (jack hammering all day long for several months) until AFTER I had signed the lease. I had to sue to break the lease due to lack of fair disclosure!! Managers at Long and Foster were not the least bit helpful until they got my lawyers letter. I would avoid this company at all costs. |

My experience with John Plank was miserable. John’s first priority is himself. He does not follow thorough on issues and does not seem to be engaged in the day to day responsibilities of being a real estate agent. John does not return phone calls, does not follow though, does not show up in person for closing appointments and actively avoids any response to issues that he needs to resolve. Once he closes a sale he disappears and actively suggests that the buyer and seller work on closing details.
With some many hungry reputable agents out there today, I would avoid John Plank. There are better agents avalaible. |
