We bought a house from Billy Roper. in 2005 and come to find out the inspection that he said was done. Was either a fake or no good. becuase my water system was not even up to code. He refuse to repair what was requested to repair stated it was my problem now becuase I bought the house. Now I found out the house is not even listed on my deed. No title was ever transferred over.
RUN AWAY from this company and there rude unprofessional staff (which by the way is all family). They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them when you call to report a problem. This company truly does not care about there tenants. Not only does it come through by the way they treat you, the sign that is hanging in there office speaks for itself. It reads "If you threaten to kill us or move it does not scare us, it just makes us dislike you more". What reputable company would allow such an unprofessional statment to be displayed for everyone to see. That's Billy Roper and his family for ya...save yourself and the trouble of dealing with these people! Go anywhere but here!!!
STAY AWAY! My rental property was turned over to this company and things drastically went from great to awful from the moment they entered our lives. We begged the owners to switch to a new management property, but they said they were stuck in a year long lease, plus Billy Roper was the cheapest (well I wonder why)! The purpose of reviews is to learn from them and see what you can do to improve your business and reputation. We have since left our rental property (that we loved) only to escape this man.
Your Home Source is the greatest company ever. The office staff is superb and Billy Roper works under so much stress dealing with tenants it's amazing he is ever in a good mood. Renting from this company has been a pleasure.
We wanted to rent a house and upon the move in date we find out that the house was infested with fleas. As soon as you opened the front door you were covered with fleas. Billy Roper try to get us to move in with the fleas still in the house. We refuse to move in until it had been treated. The house received one initial treatment, but the fleas were still there. When we asked can they treat it until the fleas are gone, he refused and said no. It would become our problem once we move in. We didn't move in and got our money back. After that Billy Roper put the house back on market knowing it is infested with fleas. All he wants is to make money, but he does not treat people right. His customer service skills need a lot of improvement. His ethics need major inprovements. Renting a house knowing it has fleas is wrong.
