Hiring Renee was a HUGE mistake. BEWARE!
She didn't choose homes to show us, only sent an automatic email every day of hundreds of homes, & WE had to do the work culling.
She pressured us to use her son as mortgage broker - don't! His commissions are crazy!
She went ABOVE our price limit without asking us when negotiating with the seller after we made an offer.
She took advantage of our ignorance of the process to get out of doing her job:
--She didn't do a comparative market analysis on either of the two homes we made offers on.
--She didn't find out the exact property tax amount on these homes EVEN THOUGH I SPECIFICALLY ASKED HER TO. She said it wouldn't be more than +/-$100 of the estimated amount, but at closing we found out it's $650 more!
She promised to be at the closing but never showed up. She said she'd give us a closing gift, but she hasn't even called to say congratulations!
She just disappeared.
